Our story

Sonoma Cannabis Wine Tours creates private cannabis farm experiences in Sonoma and Mendocino counties, with day trips from San Francisco and Napa Valley.

Each experience is private. The day includes a visit to a working cannabis farm, time with the farmer, and a picnic lunch on the land. Fully hosted days come with a private car and driver. Self-drive days come with the route, the reservations, and the local knowledge to make the most of it from your personal Cannabis Concierge.

The mission is simple: help small, struggling farms stay afloat. Every tour pays the farmer directly, so each visit supports the people growing the plant and keeps small farms part of the landscape.

The company is based in Healdsburg, California.

Charles Kimball, Founder

Charles Kimball founded Sonoma Cannabis Wine Tours after years in Napa Valley and Sonoma hospitality, working as a concierge and maître d' — including many years as maître d' at the Michelin-starred Press Restaurant in St. Helena. He brings a host's care to every tour: thoughtful planning, genuine hospitality, and a deep knowledge of wine country. When he's not planning tours, you'll find him on the Ranch with Ronnie, Cowboy, and Soda Pop.
